Moshe Tabibnia Gallery's Unveiling after Renovation
Moshe Tabibnia’s newly refurbished gallery will be unveiled, after a one-year renovation, on Friday, 7 April 2006, at 06:00 p.m. Research, preservation and display are the key values in Moshe Tabibnia’s innovating vision. Upon completion of the restructuring programme undertaken to be able to effectively preserve and display the collections and shed new light on textile art, the Gallery has become a multifaceted organization with a research centre, a studio, a specialized library and a number of showrooms with environmental conditions meeting museum standards. Furthermore, through the professional management of the resources, including three vaults and a conservation laboratory, high standard services can be provided to antique textile art collectors, whether private or institutional. Hence, breaking the boundaries between museum and private collecting, a new organizational model has ultimately been proposed for museum-oriented art galleries operating on the international scene.
